UNIVERSITIES AND INSTITUTES

In these times , all school leavers have the option of going to a college or university . These are the only two options out there for students who want to continue their studies. Both options are different but are also similar in their teaching methods . Universities in Peru are those students unlike most institutes .

When choosing your college. A student has the option of going to a state university or a private university . Prices and teaching are what make them different . The most famous state universities are the University of San Marcos, UNI and Cantuta . In these universities , a student has to pay for his studies as these are totally free , another point is that it is very difficult to enter these universities. On the other hand , the best known private universities are the University of Lima, UTP , and UPC. In these universities students have to pay monthly for their studies , as well as strict teaching is that students pay to learn. The universities are better known here as students study for 5 years and their method of study is more rigorous.

Another option are the institutes , these days some students decide to go there because they have to give an entrance exam to enter. Most institutes are known Peruvian Institute and The Wings Institute San Ignacio de Loyola. Here students only study for three years and they come out with the title of technicians. In high schools, students have to pay monthly payments , which are not as expensive . When students enter the schools , they are more dedicated to their career and also make them more practical than college students .

In conclusion , universities and institutes are the options available to students completing their studies in school. In Peru, students prefer to enter universities because they get a better title . I think that both are good options for students who want to continue their studies.

MY MEMORABLE SITUATION

If someone ask me to think back my most memorable moment or situation, I remember that I had one of the happiest moment in all my life. For me, it is impossible to forget that special moment. This was in Salamanca, on a really hot day of March, in the Circle restaurant. That day was my grandmother’s birthday; the whole family met for the first time for this special day. There are a lot of reasons why this moment was so important to me.

It was a happy day; we were looking for a good place for my grandmother to celebrate her birthday. My uncles had proposed to go to San Borja, since there were enough food restaurants. My uncle John told us that he knew a new Korean Food, the name of that restaurant was Circle restaurant. My grandmother said that he wanted to go there. When we arrived there, we could see that Circle was an elegant restaurant. Also, we could see that the restaurant had a lot of spaces, when we asked for the menu; the waiter said that the restaurant was one of the best in Lima. When I smell the food, I thought that I was in the sky. My mother said that he could taste all the ingredients in the food. I had a special moment whit my family in that restaurant, I will never forget it.

In conclusion, that moment in family was so fun that I remember some details of that day. After eating all my uncles when back to their houses. I told my grandmother that it had been one of the best moments in our life because we spent our time in family.

INTERNET

Internet is a common household tool. Technology can be used both for good or bad. If you use internet for your studies or interact with your friends, you are doing a productive work. If you use the internet to play in websites and to make fraud with the people, you are using it for bad. There is controversy among people about the advantages and disadvantages of internet. Even though, internet now provides a way for people to interact with each other but it has son disadvantages.

The negative effects that internet produces can be seen in our daily activities. The first negative effect that an internet has on children is that children are usually entranced with pc-games. As a result, they fail to do their homework. Also, people will stop doing their daily activities as they will spend their free time in front of the internet. For these reasons, internet can often make us forget ourselves and spend more time in front of these without doing our homework.

The positive effects of internet use can be seen in how people use it to communicate. Many people use internet to communicate with people all around the world using chat rooms and chat programs. As a result, now people who live thousands of kilometers away from each other can communicate as much as they want. The use of internet will change the method of education because students share the information gained from the internet it allows them to think more creatively and more independently. Using internet keeps us in touch with the people we want and also it facilitates the search of information.

In conclusion, internet has had a profound effect on our lives in many ways and it is in education and communication that they have had the greatest influence. In the future, if the internet continues evolving at such speed, our studies and methods of communication will undergo even more radical changes.

LIMA AND PIURA

Lima and Piura have many differences and many similarities. I could see many of these differences because I lived in both cities. When I was 10 years old my mother and I moved to Piura, after 6 years we returned back to Lima. They can be huge or small differences. Either way, both are different in the weather, food, people, and schools.

In Piura, my life was very quiet and peaceful, because there just had about 30 people. People were usually very friendly neighbors. In Lima, the city is very noisy as it is very large and there are many people. However, the people are friendly in both places. I remember when I lived in Piura did not go out much because I did not have many friends to go for a walk. In Lima, I have many friends with whom I enjoy a lot. I like living in Lima much, but sometimes I miss how quiet it was to live in Piura.

In Piura, the weather was very hot, my mom and I love to go for a walk because there was always sun. In Lima, the climate is very different than us and we do not know when it will be hot or cold. In Piura, I used to have lots of healthy food especially the typical food there such as a Carapulcra or Morusa. Unlike Lima, I have everything here but here many times the food is not as healthy as that of Piura. Although, I like to eat a Ceviche or Skipped Tenderloin. It had been very difficult because I had to adapt to eating a different meal.
